Outside of work, Stephen enjoys travelling with his wife, snowboarding, and watching rugby. He’s also on the committee of his local club, Hamilton, where he plays an active role in the rugby community.

Outside of work, Edward enjoys playing football, spending time with his family, and has a passion for fast cars.

Elaine Hunter

Current Role
Elaine is part of the team of Financial Planners at KPW Investments, where she continues to nurture the strong client relationships she has built over her career. With extensive technical expertise, she supports both corporate and individual clients in achieving their financial goals, always with a focus on clarity, trust, and long-term value.

Previous Experience
After completing a BA in Commerce, Elaine began her career in 1990 with Sedgwicks, specialising in employee benefits and pensions. In 1999, she joined OKDFS and later became a Director, advising a wide range of corporate and private clients. A Chartered and Fellowship-qualified adviser, Elaine has developed deep expertise across many areas of financial planning. When KPW Investments acquired OKDFS in 2020, she stepped back from the director role, but continues to serve her clients with pride and dedication.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Elaine enjoys outdoor activities, particularly watersports. She also loves getting away in her touring caravan and spending quality time with friends.

Alex began her career in financial services over ten years ago and since joining KPW Investments as a Client Account Manager, has achieved Chartered Financial Planner status. Alex has continued to build on her technical knowledge and develops lasting client relationships.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Alex is an avid traveller who enjoys exploring new places and cultures. At home, she can often be found running, hill walking, or spending time with friends.

Stephen has worked in financial services for more than 35 years. He began his career with CIS, where he spent four years, before moving to Pearl for a decade. He then ran his own IFA firm for 21 years before joining KPW in April 2024. His long-standing career is built on a passion for helping clients make informed decisions about their financial futures.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Stephen enjoys watching football, going for walks, and, most of all, spending quality time with his family.

Robert began his career as an engineer before moving into the financial services industry, where he has built up many years of experience. His background has given him a logical, problem-solving approach that clients value when navigating pensions, investments, and retirement planning. His knowledge and straightforward style make him a trusted adviser, guiding clients through complex decisions with ease.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Robert enjoys playing bowls, going on holidays with his family, and—by his own admission—doing what his wife tells him. His easy-going nature and sense of humour are just as much a part of who he is as his professional expertise

Craig is an Independent Financial Adviser with over 20 years of experience, specialising in managing the portfolios of individuals and families. He focuses on ensuring clients’ needs are met today while carefully planning for their future.

Previous Experience
After graduating with an honours degree in Business Studies, Craig travelled the world with his (now) wife, narrowly missing the 2004 Tsunami by just six days. Returning to the UK in 2005, he began his career with American stockbroker Edward Jones, where he first met Edward, Stephen, and Robert. Since then, he has dedicated his career to providing clear, client-focused financial advice.

Personal Life
Away from work, Craig is a proud father of two young children, which keeps him busy. When he does find some free time, he enjoys sailing along the West Coast of Scotland.

Bill began his career as a Broker Consultant before moving into client-facing advice, where he has spent the past 26 years delivering tailored financial planning solutions. As a member of the Personal Finance Society, he maintains an active CPD programme to ensure his skills and expertise remain up to date.

Personal Life
Sport has always been a big part of Bill’s life. He played competitive football for many years, captaining several teams, and also competed in regional league basketball. He later took up middle-distance running, completing numerous 10Ks and Half Marathons, often for charity. After a serious cycling accident in 2020, Bill now enjoys watching sport, along with reading thrillers and autobiographies. He is married to Jillian, Minister at Netherlee & Stamperland Parish Church.

Previous Experience
Lorraine began her career with Abbey National Building Society in 1984 as an Office Junior. She progressed through a range of roles and became a Financial Adviser from 2007 to 2012. She later joined Optimize Financial Solutions as an Independent Financial Adviser and Mortgage Broker. She became part of KPW Investments following the firm’s acquisition.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Lorraine enjoys spending time with her family, especially her young grandson. She is also an active member of her local bowling club.

Sharon is the Office Manager at KPW Investments, where she ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. With a focus on organisation, compliance, and support, she helps create an environment where both clients and colleagues can thrive.

Previous Experience
Sharon began her career at Prudential, starting in compliance before gaining experience in advising, underwriting, and further compliance roles. She went on to become National Paraplanner Manager, leading a team of 100 before joining KPW. Her breadth of knowledge and dedication to doing things to the highest standards make her an invaluable part of the business.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Sharon enjoys cooking, crafting, and indulging in her favourite guilty pleasure — The Real Housewives. Whether it’s drama or diamonds, she’s there for it.

Chantelle joined KPW in 2022 after six years in High Street banking, bringing with her valuable experience in customer service and financial support. Since then, she has gained her Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning and is now working towards achieving Chartered Status, demonstrating her commitment to continued professional growth.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Chantelle enjoys socialising with friends and spending time outdoors. She is happiest when camping or taking part in water sports — whenever the Scottish weather allows.

Current Role
Lindsay is a Paraplanner at KPW Investments, where she supports advisers by carrying out detailed research and analysis, and helps put together tailored recommendations for clients. She enjoys using her technical skills to contribute to the financial planning process and is currently working towards her Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning with the goal of achieving Chartered Status.

Previous Experience
Lindsay has worked in financial services for over eight years. She began her career at Prudential in the Pensions and Annuities servicing department before moving into an IFA Administrator role. In 2022, she transitioned into a Trainee Paraplanner position, where she discovered her passion for the research and analysis side of financial planning. Lindsay joined KPW in 2024 as a Paraplanner and achieved her Diploma in Financial Planning at the start of this year.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys socialising with friends, running, and taking her pug, Percy, out on adventures.

Sam supports advisers and the wider team with a thorough, detail-driven approach to every piece of work.

Previous Experience
Sam has worked in financial services for over 20 years and has held her Level 4 qualification for nearly 15 years. During that time, she has worked with a variety of firms, building strong experience in the technical and compliance side of financial planning and developing a deep understanding of how to effectively support both advisers and clients.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Sam is a passionate Manchester City supporter and a proud season ticket holder. Family is incredibly important to her, and she has two daughters and two grandchildren who keep life lively and full of joy. In her downtime, Sam enjoys reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and baking, which give her the chance to unwind and enjoy a bit of creativity.

Previous Experience
Kirsty began her career in recruitment. After seeing the long-term impact of the pandemic on the sector, she chose to move into financial services for greater stability and career development. She joined KPW Investments in April 2024 as an Administrative Assistant and Client Account Manager, before progressing to her current Trainee Paraplanner position.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Kirsty enjoys walking her mischievous Cocker Spaniel, listening to podcasts and learning to play the guitar.

Kate Donaldson

Current Role
Kate is a Client Account Manager at KPW Investments. She supports advisers and clients with energy, organisation and attention to detail. She enjoys building strong client relationships and being part of key life milestones — from weddings and dream holidays to retirement celebrations.

Previous Experience
Kate graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business and Events Management. She built her early career in hospitality across Ayrshire, Stirling and Glasgow, including a role at Gleneagles. In 2020, she moved into financial services and joined the Aviva Platform cash team before taking up her position at KPW. She is currently studying for her CII qualifications and plans to progress to Paraplanner and, ultimately, Financial Adviser.

Personal Life
Away from work, Kate spends time with her husband and young son, Leo. She enjoys reading, listening to podcasts and keeping active — although she admits a glass of wine can sometimes win.

His interest in finance began straight from school and has shaped a career dedicated to helping people make informed and confident decisions about their future.

Personal Life
Away from the office, Reece keeps active by going to the gym, running, and playing golf — where he spends as much time looking for golf balls in the bushes as he does on the fairway. Travel is another big passion, and he has been fortunate to live in Australia, an experience that deepened his love of exploring new places.

After completing her degree in Psychology and Master’s in Education, Lisa began her career with one of the UK’s major banks, progressing into senior positions within Private Banking. It was here that she developed a passion for helping clients build financial confidence and achieve their long-term goals — an approach that continues to guide her work at KPW.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Lisa serves on the board of RAPA, a local community organisation supporting young people and families, particularly those with neurodivergence. She is often joined by her own children, reflecting her strong commitment to both community and family.

After leaving school, Christina began her career as an office junior and quickly discovered a love for the fast-paced nature of office life. Over the years, she has built strong experience in administrative roles and developed a keen interest in finance. As a mature student, she gained an HND in Accountancy at night school.

Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with her family. When she finds a quiet moment, she loves nothing more than relaxing with a good book and a cup of tea.
